Router Template Tape Description
This double coated crepe tape can be used to firmly hold templates and substrates in place during the routering process. The adhesive will prevent the panel from vibrating and rebounding when it’s being machined by the blade. It is more effective than foam tape because of its low profile. The double-sided crepe tape does not sit up as high as a foam tape would, which allows you to be more exact while routering your substrate.
This double-sided crepe tape can also protect the perimeter of your substrate from being damaged, scorched or burned by the heat created during the routering and engraving process. It works well as an economy priced plaque or nameplate mounting tape, general bonding tape, or for securing insulation and splicing paper. The rubber-based adhesive can also be used on windows.
Our double-sided router template tape is available on 36-yard rolls in a variety of widths ranging from 0.5 inches up to 12 inches, to accommodate many sized projects without needing to overlap the tape as it can sometimes result in the appearance of lines.
